The best travel tip for Bali is don't go! It is not female-friendly at all, especially if you're travelling alone. You'll get hassled non-stop, ripped off and possibly worse. They don't really like tourists. Do not walk about alone at night !! and do not argue with locals? about money!!! or you'll get beaten up!!

the people there i really nice and friendly, obviously its changed since then. ive been there 3 times and im going again? this year. had no problems its a great country to go on holiday

Might give it a few years before I even step foot into indonesia. The country that tried to? murder and rape the chinese people back in 98. Fortunately there are better paradises to visit despite the higher cost. I've grown up on an island myself, awesome beaches is nothing new to me.
